Engagement opportunities (October 2025)
Why are we engaging?
As part of our Community Engagement Framework, we want to ensure more residents can share their views in shaping City decisions. To do so, we are gathering feedback to better understand community priorities for the 2026 Budget through the Budget Planning survey. City staff will provide a summary of engagement survey results to City Councilors, who will receive and review the draft 2026 Budget at a Council meeting on November 3rd, 2025. In turn, Councilors can use the survey results, along with any comments from members of the public on the draft Budget, to direct City staff to make adjustments to the proposed 2026 Budget.
