This engagement has now closed. We look forward to sharing the results with the community in early 2023.

The City is looking for feedback on the Mobile Food Services Pilot Program to better understand the community’s interest and experience with food trucks and carts in the City.

Community input will guide future decision-making on mobile food services policies in the City, contributing to a robust and sustainable local economy.

About the Project

In May 2022, the City launched a new Mobile Food Services pilot program to respond to public demand and to encourage the growing food truck industry - particularly in places where food options are limited.

The program helped simplified the application process for vendors and opened up new opportunities for food trucks and carts, both in numbers and locations. The program ran until October 30.

How You Can Get Involved

Customers, mobile food vendors, and local businesses are encouraged to share their experience by participating in our online survey. The survey is expected to take between 3-5 minutes to complete.

How Your Input Will Be Used

All feedback will be reviewed and the results of the program will be presented to Council in December 2022.
