In conjunction with the rezoning at 250 E15th Street and St Andrews for three, residential towers development (12, 12 & 6 storey), City Council endorsed the acquisition of a 0.228 hectare (24,600 sq ft) parcel at 16th St and St Andrews Ave for a new park.
