This week, the NSNH project received unanimous approval from Council for bylaw amendments that will help facilitate the development of the proposed community hub. This is an exciting milestone in the project and one step closer to realizing an important new community amenity. The development will include the new, expanded North Shore Neighbourhood House, an overnight respite and care facility, up to 260 affordable rental units, and an expanded and redesigned Derek Inman Park. The project will take place over three phases, and there will be an opportunity for the community to provide input and feedback on design. Watch for updates and more information to come.
