Neighbourhood Park at 1600 Eastern

Project Update June 2022

We’re building a temporary park space at 1600 Eastern Avenue for the interim until the installation of the permanent park. Work on the permanent park is scheduled to begin in 2024.

In the meantime, we’re animating the space with a temporary community garden, off-leash dog area, and gathering spaces for everyone to enjoy. The community gardens will be managed by the North Shore Community Garden Society. Thank you for your patience while we construct this new temporary park space, which is scheduled to be complete later this summer.

Project Update Fall 2021

We've developed a park plan for 1600 Eastern Avenue Park. Our goal is to create a park that supports the needs of the neighbourhood and provides new, creative ways to have fun and enjoy the community green-space.

Help Us Design a New City Park!

We're creating a brand new park at 1600 Eastern Avenue. Together we can design a park that reflects the needs of the East Central Lonsdale neighbourhood and provide new creative programming opportunities.
